Aam Aadmi Party’s ‘Multiverse of Corruption

In the recent past, many of the posts shared by the social media accounts of the Aam Aadmi Party had gone viral. The primary reason behind the incredible traction received by these posts is due to the fact they are extremely quirky, smart, and topical. Most of these posts revolved around trending topics and conveyed a message while saying things in a humorous manner.

One of their most viral posts in the recent past has been the one around the Ranbir Kapoor – Alia Bhatt wedding. The digital media team of the Aam Aadmi Party put together a post that had a picture of Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor. The caption on the picture read ‘Guest List Leaked’. This particular post was shared a day before the much-awaited wedding. Apart from the primary slide, which featured Ranbir and Alia’s picture, there were 6 other slides. The first slide featured an image of Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray with the caption “After spending 1500 crores, BMC is still cleaning up Mithi River”.

Now, the digital media team of the political party has managed to create another post that is getting viral. “Presenting to you the Multiverse of Corruption that is also known as BMC! #DoctorStrange #Mumbai” – was the caption of a post shared by the Twitter account of Aam Aadmi Party Mumbai. The post had a very creative image complementing the caption.

The Hollywood film ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’ is scoring big at the box office all over the world including India. The character in the film, based on Marvel Comics, has several superpowers including teleportation. Through the aforementioned post, Aam Aadmi Party was trying to convey the message that the BMC in Mumbai had teleported people into a multiverse of corruption by looting their resources.

The post, which was uploaded a couple of hours ago, has reached out to innumerable social media users. It was yet another example of the digital media team of the Aam Aadmi Party using a trending topic, along with humor, to bring about awareness in the general public.
