Greece is located at crossroads of Europe, Asia and Africa. Greece has the longest coastline on the Mediterranean Basin and the 11th longest coastline in the world at 13,676 kms in length, featuring a large number of islands of which 227 are inhabited. 80% of Greece consists of mountains with Mount Olympus being the highest peak at 2,918meters.

Greece is considered as the cradle of Western Civilization, birthplace of Western literature, Western philosophy, democracy, mathematical principles and notably the Olympic Games.

Athens – Capital of Greece and retains ancient landmarks including the 5th century B.C. Acropolis Citadel with Parthenon temple. The Acropolis Museum along with the National Archaeological Museum preserved sculptures, vases, jewellery and more from the Ancient Greece. Each group consists of several islands and The Cyclasdes and Crete have some of the most popular islands of Greece.

All the Greek Islands are linked toe the mainland and there are regular ferry services between them. So one can also enjoy a Island hopping holiday. The Greek ferry fleet consists of all type of vessels and offering different comforts to passengers. They vessels are modern, reliable and speedy.

In recent times Santorini and Mykonos have become crowded, adventurous tourists are exploring the mainland and heading to wide open spaces of Greece. The Peloponnese has been bubbling since the Costa Navarino opened in 2010 – A destination for Luxurious holiday in Greece and later the Kalamata airport opened to interactional flights reducing travel time to this region. This increased the tourism to the region by 15% last year and rail service linking port of Patras with town of Pyrgos in south western Peloponnese is expected to start in 2019.
