Since very graciously iCraze has requested me to share my journey of bringing Soapbox into existence and making it a brand to reckon with let me start by mentioning that it all started in the year 1998 when I moved out of home owing to my studies. I am a postgraduate in International Business and Marketing Management From Cardiff Business School, Wales. UK.

I have always led my life knowing and believing what My Maa always told me “Education and strength of character are the only two things that will stay with you when all leave so make sure they are strong.” So thank you Ma.

My Paa, on the other hand, is my Guru, My Idol he has taught me what life is what it is to live for yourself but more so for people you love. He is a businessman in a true sense. I marvel at how he lives his life in such a dignified manner, I always say My Paa never taught me how to live he lived and watch me do it.

I owe my existence to him. Blindly trusting me with everything that I did all i was told is ” Daughter dear know one thing in life its important to listen to everyone so they all feel loved and heard, but only do what your heart says because no matter what your heart is never wrong.”

Mumbai is a city that never sleeps and it’s a crazy rush but it’s a city that has given me my name, my pride, and my first baby Soapbox. The reason I am spoken about, written about, talked about. Almost 11 years into existence and boasting of representing the best in the business by Universe’s Grace we are still here growing stronger and publications such as you make me feel I have done something right to be acknowledged and written about, thank you for that. This city has given me a lot, so thank you Mumbai!! A big shout to all my clients who have relentlessly stuck by me trusted me and loved me. I owe you guys a lot. No matter what i say can never thank you enough.

I believe

At the end of my journey My epitaph should read “She lived” and this I mean in the real sense.

Whatever the ride has been it has taught me and made me stronger. It has certainly made me want to live life with more zest. I want people to cherish having had me in their lives. I may not be perfect and I may not be the best but know that if I am in your life and vice versa it’s because I cherish being there. I value you being in mine. I hate negativity and I hate confrontations. Remember me fondly that’s all I ask of each one I know and call mine.
